Q: What
interest you the most in your field of work?
I just love
spending time with the fishes, watching them growing and making sure
they're healthy all the time.
Q: How has your career path been?
Being in
love with aquatic life since a child, it was only natural for me to
graduate in fishery science. After finishing my thesis on a
research-based genetic study, I started my career as a fish
biologist, studying fish diseases and curing them. I have worked on
lab researches and experiments focusing on the optimization of
condition, tolerance and adaptation of fish, be it fresh or
saltwater.
I have also try my hand in commercial breeding activities, including
and artificial induced spawning. I did my field work on farms in Hong
Kong, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, France, Germany, Belgium,
and Spain. Then in 2005, I was presented with the opportunity to take
up my current position at FISHO as an aquaculture specialist. Since
then, I have been working on develop ming our very own Doctor Fish. |
